To infinity and beyond

The Hollywood movies kindled in the Indian subcontinent gained much appreciation over the past decade or so after The Slumdog Millionaire    topped the charts with whopping $600 collections worldwide. Later the Life of Pi    gained significant attention among the global audience.  It's a tedious venture for a non-English category movie that too derived from a sub-continent region to achieve global reputation. At a point of time when the wide-releases of a movie was unheard, the global acceptance was solely associated to the Academy award's and film festival exposures. There were even instances where the movie would be re-released for global audience after it's triumph at the awards, like the scenario recently happened with  The Parasite.  As we shift the focus back to India as far as Indian movie enthusiasts are considered, a cry for Indian movies not getting the required global attention in the awards are prominent over the years.
